 Not only is global human resources mobility a reality, it is an inherent human right. Recruitment initiatives can be managed to protect both individuals and developing countries while meeting Canada's human resources needs.

 Canada should be showcased as a prime location for skilled tradespersons to establish a rewarding career, and as a great place to live and raise a family.

 The evidence-based human resource strategy of Canada should be measured and regularly evaluated to determine the impact that has been made in addressing the needs of Canadian industry and communities.

Able Industrial Trades will:
 Protect the human resources base of developing nations and underserved jurisdictions by avoiding direct marketing to their critical skills base.

 Collaborate with Canadian communities, employers and related organizations to identify and reach shared goals regarding skilled tradespersons recruitment.

 Provide detailed information about the positions being recruited for, including, but not limited to, compensation, working environment, and other relevant conditions (full/part-time, rural, etc.).
